The Birthplace of Fire music CD is based on the historic Azusa Street Revival that occurred in Los Angeles, California, from 1906-1915. It was started by William J. Seymour, an African-American preacher who was originally from the state Louisana. The building where the revival was held was located on 312 Azusa Street and became one of the first places in the United States where the Holy Spirit was released in such a powerful way. This event also was the birthplace of many of the Pentecostal/Charismatic organizations. To honor this heritage, the Lanny Wolfe Trio has decided to re-release the original 1986 Children of Asuza St. album on digital platforms under the re-branded title Birthplace of Fire. This rebrand is in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the original Lanny Wolfe Trio album.
